For the last few mornings, it seemed like there was an unofficial photographers’ convention each morning at sunrise at Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National Park. I had a few bewildered tourists stop while driving by to ask why we were all standing there in the dark. I’m not sure it made sense to them when I said we were waiting for the first light of the morning. For those who decided to wait with us, I think the reasons soon became apparent.
